we have FP for electric parade but thinking of dropping it as the space looks odd and folks have said its not always great. Wondering if I drop to use for another fast pass how hard it is to get a spot for 9pm parade, how early need to be there? Also where is a good spot to watch? We will be in fantasyland ahead of time.
Thanks

It is usually not difficult to get a front-row spot for MSEP in Frontierland say, 30 minutes before. Crowds on the day of your visit will of course influence this.

I agree. As long as you are not wedded to the idea of getting an iconic Main Street curbside seat, it's not terrible. We always get a decent spot in Frontierland and high tail it over to BTMRR and Splash as soon as the tail end of the parade passes by.

In Feb, the line for the FP started forming around 8:20. I think it opened at 8:30ish. Most of the main street curbs at 8:20 was full. The benefit of FP is that it's not super crowded. Most people have curb space, a few people are standing behind. The rest of the street crowd is packed!

I would give up the FP only if I planned to go to the 11pm parade.
