Either all the resorts are sold out with the AP rates or the WDW site is not working

I just tried looking for a Deluxe Room at the Boardwalk for this December with the Annual Pass rates and I was looking from December 9 - December 23, which is the dates for our current Standard Club Level Room reservation we have at the Boardwalk. Anyway after putting in the dates and etc it said the Boardwalk was sold out along with all the other Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts. So is it really possible that all the resorts are sold out for our dates with the Annual Pass rates or is there something wrong again with the WDW website reservation system?

Just now I tried looking for our dates with the Fall/Winter Room Only promotion and the resorts became available, so then it has to be something wrong with the Annual Pass rates right?

I was checking the available rooms for this Nov/Dec and having the same issues. I tried my days around Thanksgiving, and then days in the beginning of Nov. Kept getting a big NO GO.

Seems to me the problem is with the site...I hope so as I need to add 1 or 2 nights before my already planned dates.

I couldn't get anything to come up either. I used your dates and my dates and nada. :confused3

I was looking for FD dates in February and had the same problem, so I think it's the WDW site.

The site has been having "issues" all day long for room only bookings. I booked today for January using the current public room only discount code and it took HOURS. I kept getting an error that said room only reservations are currently not being accepted due to system upgrades. I finally was able to book (did get my confirmation email) but when I priced out rooms for a 2nd trip a little while later it went back to giving me the error.

I hope its the site. I was just browsing the other night and found a couple of great deals. Today I went back to actually book for a long weekend and there is nothing available. I checked for every weekend between now and January and nothing showed up. The regular priced rooms are available and I can get rooms with the dinning plan but not with the annual pass holder discount. I even checked on dates during the week and even then nothing came up at any resort. Do the room rates for annual pass holders actually sell out or do they just tell you that to get you to "book now"?

OMG I am breathing a huge relief sigh! I have been trying all morning to get dates the week before Thanksgiving and it said NOTHING was available. I was ready to cry! Now I can't even access WDW.com.

Wow, just posted something similar...so happy to know I'm not the only one! My dates are 12/19-12/22...shows nothing for any resort.

Nothing is working on the site, even tried to look at rack rates and that part is also down. AP, FLA Res. and the Special Offers section, too! What a pain, it has been like this since yesterday. The Chat is also broken.

:confused3

:banana:The AP website is now working!!! I just booked 12/6-12/11 at Bay Lake Towers standard studio for $1,256.05, including tax.

I was just checking my dates November 27-Dec 4 and the only 2 coming up are ASSPORTS and SSR. SSR doesn't have the weekend discount either. I think the AP rates are being booked up and that's all there is to it. More may become avail. as time passes either by cancellations or more rooms just being put into the pool. I have had CMs tell me both happen depending on the avail. of a resort.

I was checking for BLT for October 2011 - have been checking for two days - and the site says there is no availability at any of the villa resorts for two people for our dates. I find that hard to believe, hopefully this is the same site problem. :confused3

FYI, looks like things are back to normal. Was able to get the days I need and switch resorts to Poly Club. Go check it out while it still works!

So glad the site is working again! Now I can go back to obsessing over a possible Poly stay over Xmas. :rolleyes1

Poly - or POP to save money - or POR - but POFQ would be better though I don't like the food court - really good AP price on Poly... :badpc:

Still no availability for any villas for Oct or Nov 2011. With them being DVC do they normally get sold out that far in advance? Over a year?! :confused3

Come to the dark side! Come grab up the Poly deal while it's still there for you to take advantage of...

I just tried the Annual Pass rates and there were rooms available for our dates in December, so whatever problems they had was fixed.

You're looking too early. DVC resorts don't typically get released for reservations until about 9 months out. I think the farthest out I've ever been able to book a cash reservation was January for a September trip. I think it has something to do with allowing the owners to make their reservations at 11 months out, but I'm not sure. I just know they don't show up as early as any other resort. Just keep checking online and one day you'll see them pop up.

Yes, I actually clued into that after my post. I remembered that DVC owners get first dibs on their "home resort" and then other DVC members after that. Thanks for the confirmation!
