same cast as day one, noone died yet :p

On saturday, it was decided that today we would use our first option and go to a water park. Mom can't swim, so she isn't a big fan of water parks, however she does like Typhoon lagoon cause its so pretty :)

With that we took off for fun sun and lots of water!! Man, was it packed today(i could have told my brother that but today was his show ;)
We made camp at the edge of the wave pool, and as quick as you could turn around the kids were off getting wet!
I don't know if TL's wave pool has been tweeked, but i like what they've done with the rapid fire large waves!
One thing i could swear that was missing was the water coming from the stack of the tilly, can anyone tell me if it used to blow out the top?.
I took the older girls up and we did the slides that are side by side and raced to the bottom! It was their first times doing a large slide and they were a little hesitant, but after that slide they were addicted to them!
After more slides the three of us decided a trip around the lazy river thingy was in order(i was surprised they wanted to do such a mellow activity!). This is one of my favorite things, as it is relaxing and cooling to boot!
I like the addition of the boat motor shop where folks can soak us down below hehehe.
Not long after i decided i better scoot before i got baked, so i made my way to the resort while they stayed another 4 hours!!

Later that day we went to Downtown Disney to find food. WOW i couldn't believe how many people were down there!
We chose Rainforest cafe, with an hour or so wait. The little ones got to do the carosel and the train(kevin did NOT want to come off the train!).
The two mom's got a bit of shopping done and i spendt the time looking at all the items in the disney art store(i still cant believe how expensive those cells are!!!).
We finally got seated in the ape section in rainforest and ordered right away, as we were starved!!
Everyon was satisfied with their food except for Caitlin. She got the shrimp prima vera i think, the pasta was way overcooked and rubbery. The waiter took it back, where i suspect the chef tried it and agreed, it was taken off the bill. The tab for a party of 8 was about 200 dollars
The girls wanted to get something at Ghiradelli's (sp) but the line was out the door!!
Back to the hotel we went, Mcdonalds shakes in hand!

Sunday is next!

LOL Its funny when people wont listen to us and then we turn out being right! Never underestimate the power of the Dis! :)

Enjoying your reports! I have a cute picture taken at Giradellis(sp?) of one of my little grandsons..I think he was three..with chocalate ice cream all over his face. Sorry the line was too long for your family to enjoy the goodies there!

Typhoon Lagoon sounds like fun...One of these trips I *have* to get there....Shopping at Downtown Disney is always good...

Beth :p

Only 15 more days!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

You are correct. Typhoon Tilly used to spout water but due to the drought in Florida they are trying to conserve!

It's unbelievable how long the lines get at DD sometimes. I guess that's where everyone goes on their "off" days.

Sounded fun and relaxing! - I'm so sad - this time last year I was in Disney for a great friends Wedding! But only 194 days left till I'm Back :bounce:

We love Typhoon Lagoon! We went there for the first time this year! Glad you enjoyed it to. Nice to be able to relax in Disney.
