Eggs Benedict

We have breakfast reservations next week at Chef Mickey's, Akershus, and the Grand Floridian. Does anyone know if any of these three character breakfasts offer Eggs Benedict? My father is going with us, and it's his favorite dish.

The Grand Floridian Cafe does a very nice Eggs Benedict.

It's not listed on allearsnet for any of those places to eat. Besides the one at The Grand Floridian Cafe (which we hope to try in a few weeks), The Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club has a great one. Instead of the egg being on an english muffin - it is on a crabcake. They also have the regular kind.

Crab Cake Benedict - fried crab cakes on grilled tomatoes, topped with two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, served with breakfast potatoes $12.99

Eggs Benedict - two poached eggs on a toasted English Muffin with Prosciutto and Hollandaise Sauce, served with breakfast potatoes $10.99

Here is what they have at The Grand Floridian Cafe - this sounds great also - I just love lobster.

Eggs Benedict - Two Poached Eggs on a Toasted English Muffin with Canadian Bacon and Hollandaise Sauce served with Asparagus $10.99

Lobster Eggs Benedict - Two Poached Eggs on Danish Bread, Asparagus, Lobster, and Citrus Hollandaise Sauce $17.99

Yummy - maybe I'll have to try both.

I don't even like Eggs Benedict, but wow, that crab cake version sounds amazing. Not sure when(if) we'll have time to make it to the Grand Floridian Cafe, but still...that sounds unreal.

The crab cake one was wonderful. We had it in November 2008 the morning after our wedding.

Not that I have seen...if they did I would book one every day because I love eggs benny!

I think this is Kona's version of Eggs Benedict..

The Somoan - poached eggs with Hollandaise served over smoked pulled pork hash $9.99

My son loved the sound of this and is thinking about ordering it if we have a free morning next month for Kona Cafe.

OH! And I also found this for you Benedict lovers out there.. Whispering Canyon Cafe's version..

Barbecue Eggs Benedict- poached eggs on an English muffin with beef brisket and barbecue-Hollandaise sauce served with red bliss potatoes and sauteed onions $10.99

Wow - both of those sound amazing. I think we will need to schedule a breakfast every morning to try all of these. I just love breakfast and would eat the eggs benny for breakfast, lunch and dinner if they served it.

I am pretty sure that the Rain Forrest Cafe at the entrance to Animal Kingdom serves them. They have a wonderful cranberry waffle too.
