kahlua here.. with a tad of milk and ice. It is awesome and such a Christmas drink for me!! A must have while decorating, wrapping and Christmas day.

Khalua??? I'd never even thought of that! I've got to try that! I've always gone plain or with rum. But I'm going to give the Khalua a try.

Khalua and hot choclate is one of my winter favs.

We do eggnog with rum normally but this year we went on our cruise and my friend suggested i do the eggnog with the Tortuga Spiced rum i brought back so thats what we have been doing....yuuuMM!!

We always make eggnog milkshakes this time of year! Our local dairy store sells the 16 oz. containers and I use one with about three big scoops of vanilla bean ice cream and put it in the blender then sprinkle a little cinnamon and nutmeg on top..... delish!

Funny Eggnog story:
This happened about 12 years ago. The not too bright receptionist in my DH's office, asked the guys in the office for an Eggnog recipe. My smart*!* DH tells her it's easy "All you need is a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs & a half dozen NOGS." The guys all smirk under thier breath as she tells him "Thanks!" The next day she comes in & asks "Where do you buy Nogs? The clerk in the grocery has never heard of them!"

I know this sounds like a joke, but it's the truth! Don't know what became of this girl, she quit her job to move to Corpus Christi with that week's boyfriend. She said she was going to open a snow cone stand!!!

If you haven't tried it, splurge on an actual nutmeg "nut". Not the powdered stuff. It makes a world of difference.
