The day I would like to go to Hollywood Studios on my summer/high crowd vacation has Evening EMH that day (at 8:30 pm).

Given that, is this a park to avoid if we are only going until lunch time? (this is our least fave park, atmosphere wise, but DS has a few rides he loves, we could get done in a morning).

Thanks!

If you can book your FP+ for later in the day once you've arrived, then yes, you should be fine. If not, can you rather switch that day with a different day? We usually do go to the park with morning EMH but we hop after the first few hours and never do it unless we know for sure we will get there before the park opens to resort guests. You have a bunch of people getting in ahead of the official park opening which gives the lines a head start to grow even by 9 am.

No ... in my experience an Evening EMH at Studios will have very little impact on that park in the morning. That on top of Fantasmic will make the late afternoon an issue though. So long as you're done touring by 3:00 or so, you probably won't notice the difference
