When I opened my e-mails this morning, I shot right up. The first message was from a friend that passed away a few months ago. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it.
I opened the e-mail and the only thing in it was a link that took me to what is supposed to be a Canada prescription drug site.
This e-mail was also sent to everyone on my deceased friend's address list.
I know her family would not do something like this. Any one have any ideas about what might have happened?

Yeah - somebody hacked her account. Happens all the time. Nothing unusual about it.

My friend has been gone long enough that I would think her account would already be terminated. I was more than shocked when I saw that e-mail with her name.

I have seen a similar thread before. I am not sure what happens. I am sorry for your loss, and I hope it was not too upsetting for you.

most likely it did not come from her account. they make it look like it came from the account of someone you know, so you will open it.

More than likely, its either a hacked account, or someone with a sick mind trying to be funny...
