Editing Posts

I haven't seen this addressed anywhere so maybe I'm the only one having this problem.

I can't edit a post that I have made. I know other people can edit theirs.......I see the edited time at the bottom.

I'm getting this error message.

Not Found

The requested URL /spellcheck/spch.js was not found on this server.

Is it me??

My guess is that you are using Netscape as your browser??

Yup....netscape I never had a problem before.

It could have occured with the latest update of the software but I do believe that Alex is aware of this issue. It has been discussed over here before although I'm sure it has dropped to the 2nd or 3rd page (or further) by now. I think I recall that at that time one or more of the mods here said that Alex was aware of the issue. If you have the option of using IE rather than Netscape for the time being, the problem seems to be unique to Netscape. I don't have any info on when they might have a remedy.

Thanks for the info!! I'll deal with it and if it continues I'll send an email. I hate IE......I have it, but I hate it.

I find it difficult to navigate. I hate Outlook Express too.

I've always used Netscape. Now it seems that Microsoft is ramming IE down everyone's throat.

I hate change.....so....maybe that's it. I'm used to Netscape and would rather use it.

i hate netscape navigator , i use internet explorer - I never had the problem of not editing posts , i can do it with out any problem
