Edinburgh airport recomendations?

Not a Florida trip but were going on a long weekend to Munich in April and flying from Munich for the first time. Does anyone have any recomendations for an airport hotel? I already have airport parking onsite as we got a really good deal through BAA but due to the early start I think it would be wise to stay the night before

The only one worth staying at is the Hilton. Unlike most other international airports, there are no terminal hotels and to be honest, the reason we don't bother with any others is that although they appear close in distance, it is such a hassle to get to the actual airport from them. Unless you make a real day of it if you have the time and stay in Edinburgh itself and just leave earlier to get to the airport.

one word to learn before you travel to germany - unless of course you already speak german

flughafen - german for airport....

i had to travel a lot to dusseldorf and the knowledge of english among taxi drivers was negative....they didn't even know 'hello'...
before my first trip, everyone in the office kept saying - just learn flughafen and then at least you know you'll be able to get back home - you'll be able to tell the taxi driver to take you to the airport...
