Eczema and Face Paint at Pirate's League

My 4 year old has eczema and we have planned on Pirate's League- I am a little worried about the paint and whether it will break him out or not. Has anyone had experience with it breaking them out? His eczema is not as severe as it used to be as he is growing out of it, so that's why I thought he could handle it. Last time I ventured out and let him get a "tattoo" and he was fine. Everyone's skin is different so it is really hard to say. Two of my kids have eczema and one can have paint and the other can't. I would buy some at a craft store or Wal mart and then put it on the inside elbow and see what happens. If nothing then put some on the face and see if anything happens. Because eczema is an immune system thing if your child is sick or has been exposed to something odd on your trip then there could be a reaction to the paint that you did not get at home.
