If I rent an ECV at Epcot and then I want to park hop over to Hollywood Studios, how hard will it be to get an ECV at the new park, especially if it's around mid-day? Thanks for your help.

It depends what time of year, off peak when it is quiet it is unlikely to be a problem but at a busy time of year you would be lucky to get one.

You might be better off renting from an off-site vendor, if you plan to park hop. Not only will the reduce the amount of queuing you have to do before you get into the park, and remove any worries of whether or not you'll get one, but it also means you'll have it 24/7 and also, it often works out cheaper than renting each day at the parks. For information on rental companies, see the FAQ.
