Yes, we use them all the time staying at Disney Springs hotels. We get Lyft and request Lyft Plus or Uber XL and soon as they accept the ride, we text them and tell them we have my Mom's scooter. No driver has ever refused one. My husband takes the seat and battery off and he and I offer to put it in the vehicle ourselves, but the driver always helps. Some people here will say drivers may not want to deal with the ECV but that has not been our experience.
And we always make sure to tip well for their extra help.
There have been a few driver that would not take my friend with her ECV the taxi service in Orlando dose have wheelchair accessible vans thst you could use too
What @dizneefan13 said is my usual advice as well. I am one of those posters that likes to mention that some drivers may not assist with loading the ECV. I only say that because it can happen and it’s better to have a plan B just in case. I will say that in my experience this is rare however. Most drivers are willing to help. Just don’t be shocked if it doesn’t happen, or if they look to you for guidance on how to load it.
We don't expect them to load it but the driver always helps my husband load it.I think it helps to give them a heads up that we have my Mom's ECV.
If one came to pick us up and refused, I'd just request a new one. They come very quickly to Hotel Plaza Blvd.
