We will be in DLR next week! :cool1: We will have me with a bum knee in an ECV, and a teen daughter recovering from major surgery in a wheelchair, plus dh, our other teen daughter, and then our college son joining us for the weekend. We haven't been since the new PTN and fireworks shows, and haven't been to F! since the new FP areas.

I'm looking for suggestions as to good places to watch PTN/Fireworks with our group, and also if there are designated handicapped sections for all those shows. We aren't doing a F! dining package, but could get FP's.

I tried searching and asking on the corresponding threads for PTN/Fireworks and for F! but couldn't find any good info and haven't had any responses, so thought I'd try a new thread. :goodvibes

Thanks!

I don't have an answer for you, but I would also like to get this info. We will be traveling the end of January with my parents (2 ECVs) and my niece (possible stroller)? My husband and I saw PTN and fireworks in early Sept, but I'm thinking two adults with no mobility issues is going to be a lot different than a party of 5 with 2 ECVs, a 4 year old and 2 adults.

Fantasmic!, they have handicap viewing, you just need to get a FP. If I remember right, it is by the launch area to Tom Sawyer Island (near Haunted Mansion.)

PTN - There is a handicap viewing are by the Showcase on Main Street. You can also get the area in front of the fire station. This would leave you free to move into the street area for fireworks. There is no specific area for fireworks. You can get an area along the firestation an djust move into the street, or get an area near Small World, but Main St is better.

There is ecv / handicapped viewing for PTN on the path between Pixie Hollow and the castle, rugh near the PH exit. We were in that section last night and the view for the first parade was great! I don't know if I'd like that spot as well for the parade if it were coming from TS, but the first parade started at iasw so was coming towards the viewing area very nicely. I'll post some pictures when I can. We are here now, but I forgot my charger for my tablet so I can't upload from my slr yet.
