We will be at Kidani for our upcoming trip and it is my first visit there with and ECV. I have previously been at the Pop and parked the ECV outside to charge. Does anyone have experience with Kidani? Do you typically park it in the room, or are the outlets in the elevator lobbies that can be used? We will need to use the pull out bed so i am thinking having it in the room might be a tight fit?

We always park the ECV in the room. We are responsible for it, so we want it in our room with us. I have been know to reorganize the furniture a bit to get things to all fit, but never had an issue at any of the resorts. Sometimes, it is parked right by the door, other times near the balcony. Just depends where I find a good space with outlets close by to charge it.

I wouldn't park an ECV outside of any room any more, they are getting stolen far too often. That being said, we were staying in a studio at Kidani and there is a little "alcove" area near the kitchenette that you can angle the ECV into and it is out of the way, leaving a nice path, this was with a Pride Victory 10 if that helps, so it was a larger scooter. There is a small trash can that is normally there, we just had to move it. Also please note that if you have connecting rooms, this is where the connecting door would be, so if that is an issue then you might need to come up with something else.

A friend was staying in a two bedroom and they fit two Pride Victory 10 scooters in the living room with all beds pulled out. Since the one bedroom has the same size living room as the two bedroom, you should be fine there as well. Also, all three scooters had a Captains chair and one scooter had a sun shade and one with a walker holder (the one in the studio), so again fairly large foot prints and all fit fine.

Another note is to push the door hard and it will remain open, makes getting the scooter in and out much easier than someone trying to hold the door.

Thanks for the info! At the Pop You cannot fit it into the room so you don't have a choice. Everyone charged just outside their room window. We passed at least 7-8 scooters plugged in outside every morning headed out.

I will try fitting it into the nook by the door at Kidani.

I have to disagree with this. Everyone who was doing this was being irresponsible with these expensive devices.

You can fit an ECV in a Value room, even a renovated room. It should fit in the area between the dresser and the bathroom, even if there's a connecting door there. It will fit near the door.

I agree, we fit two Maxima's in at All Star Sports, just required moving the table to the other side of the TV.

I'm glad to hear this. My mom rents an ECV for our trips and we'll be at a 2br in Kidani. We normally stay at values, and I can attest to the fact that, yes, you can fit an ECV into the value rooms. :)

We were told at check in that the best place to charge it was under the window outside our room and that they did not fit inside the rooms if you plan to use the second bed. I assumed the hotel staff know best.

Nope, they have no clue, we asked at All Star Sports and were told the same thing, but we didn't want to leave them outside for various reasons, all it took was moving a table and two chairs. You could also ask housekeeping to remove the table and chairs I suppose as well.
