ECV & Park Hopping

My mother is going with us this trip and she's going to need an ECV to make it through the parks. I know that US rents out ECVs at the parks, my question is can I ride one park to the next with the same ECV? I'm a little concerned that if we do try to do it all in one day - she wont be able to get an ECV when we switch parks as they will already be taken.

I could not find anything on that but have seen people moving them between parks. I checked online and you can reserve them ahead of time so that could be an option.

Guests can rent strollers, wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV) upon entrance to either theme park, to the left side of each park's entrance. Manual wheelchairs are also available at the Rotunda area of the parking structure. Due to limited numbers, please note that ECV Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be operated by a single person 18 years of age or older.

NOTE: We suggest you place a request in advance for ECV rentals (at least 1 week prior to your arrival). This can be done by contacting Guest Services by calling 407-224-4233.

Another option is to see about renting one at one of the 3 onsite hotels if you are not staying onsite already. My dad rented one last trip when we stayed at PBH and it was more then worth the cost. He even decided to go into the parks with us and the look on his face when he saw WWOHP would have paid for 100 rentals.

I have park hopped when renting an ECV and had to turn the one in and use my receipt to get one at the next park.

that is what i have read in some of the past trip reports.
turn in the ecv when you leave one park, use the receipt to get another one in the other park.

ecv's do rent out fast.
don't know how that would work if none were available once you got to the other park.
