ECV increase question

I know this must have been posted but I could not find it when I searched. Did the increase go to $45 or $50? Two months ago when we visited, an ECV one day rental was $40 and you got $5 back for return. So I would like to know the price after the return of the chair. Did it go up $5 or $10 a day. Boy, I wish they'd offer a discount for multiple day rental.

Rent one from one of the outside companies, they are cheaper and you get to take them back to your resort with you. You also don't have a problem of them running out by the time you get into the park in the morning.

To answer your question, I believe the increase was $5.00

I'm not certain what the previous price was but the current one is $45 per day and a $20 refundable deposit. So you would give them $65 and get back $20 when you return the ECV.

Then I guess it's up $10 since mid Feb. I rented one for 3 days and paid $40 per day and each day I got $5 back after I returned it. So it is going from $35 to $45 a day out of pocket.

$10 a day is big news if you're renting for up to a week.

I will definitely look to renting off property for next visit.

My last trip taught me that it is far better to use an outside ECV rental than renting in the park. I could barely make and was exhausted from the hike to the Main Gate.

Although I absolutely LOVE the ECV's at WDW Parks, I agree the downfall is that! I swear, my knees locked up continually and I had blisters from my cane! I think the MK trek was the worst. We stayed at SSR last year, so our buses loaded up closer to the front, we are at Pop this coming trip and I just found out that their bus is last!
