Hi - does anyone else shop through Ebates to get cash back? We were supposed to get our Paypal payments on 2/15 but I haven't received mine. Is anybody else waiting? I thought it might have been because the 15th was a Sunday and then Monday was President's Day but I am a little worried. We go to WDW on Saturday and I am planning on paying for gardengrocer.com with my Paypal account and would like to order ASAP!

I've used ebates a lot and the first time it was suppose to go through paypal I never got it so I called them. They said there was some problem with my paypal and I didn't enter it early enough. They fixed it and I've never had a problem since. What does it say under your payment?

I called! Thanks for posting the number. They are late getting payments out as they have several merchants who have not paid them yet. Circuit City and Baarnes and Noble to name a couple.

I haven't rec'd mine either and it is over $200.00. I have emailed and called but have heard nothing back. I can understand them holding up payments if you purchased through the vendors that haven't paid them but all others should be paid.
 
I did not receive my cash back on Feb. 15th, either. In addition, a purchase I made through eBay did not get credited to my account. I have sent emails for both issues, with no response. I attempted to call the number posted here but when I press "0" for operator, it goes nowhere, just returns to the original message.:confused: I have never had a problem previously with my cash back, it often has posted to my account on the 14th.
 
I haven't received my cash back either. Never had a problem with them before. Tried emailing them 3 times and have yet to receive a reply. Will try the number tomorrow, but after reading previous post wonder if they're purposely avoiding everybody. Any other suggestions?
 
I found the number for corporate this a.m.: 415.908.2000. My account still shows cash pending. Am going to give corporate a call to see what's up.
 
Ebates posted an explanation yesterday on their blog for late payments. I told them they should have notified all of us BEFORE they were late. I called and spoke to Dylan. He told me on Tuesday that I would have my money within 48 hours. Customer service does not respond to any emails. Here is the phone number 415-908-2200 . It is hidden in their privacy tab.

Please, be patient, folks. We know that it is incredibly unlike us here at Ebates to be late on your payment, but due to a handful of merchants not paying us we don't have the money to pass on to you right now. We assure you that you will be paid for all credited purchases you've made - there is never a question about that; we are just experiencing a lag time in payment to us, and therefore payment to you. I am re-printing a letter from Kevin, our CEO, that most of you should be receiving in your inbox some time later today:


Dear Ebates Member,

You may have noticed that your cash back payment from Ebates has not yet arrived - but please rest assured that your payment is in process.

Given the challenging retail climate, a large number of our retail partners have been slow to pay our commissions for purchases you made in November and December, and these commissions are what allow us to pay your cash back rebates. To ensure the largest possible payout, we have delayed processing your payment until the last possible moment. We will complete processing and send a payment this week that reflects all purchases for which we have received payment from the retailer.

Any payments not received by Ebates as of today and paid this week will be sent to you in a special payment as soon as we receive them. You will still see these orders as cash pending in your Ebates' account.

Our goal remains to pay members cash back as quickly as possible and we apologize for this inconvenience.

So, it's been 48 hours since he told you that on Tuesday...did you get your money? I've tried calling that number several times starting on Wednesday and have never gotten anything except a recording asking me to leave a message and someone will call me back.

Did anyone actually get the email that they said would be sent? I know I didn't. They sure didn't do themselves any favors the way they handled this.

My money was finally deposited this morning. I never received a response to my earlier emails concerning one tracking ticket that I did not receive payment for or the late deposit.
 
I received a cash back notification yesterday but they only deposited half of what I was supposed to receive. A little over $24 instead of $50. They just list the balance as "pending" on their website. I think it's pretty poor customer service to not give any additional info.
 
if you read the blog comments from "Bill" on the 2/18 blog posting they are paying the rebates on funds they were paid for

I finally got a response and got my payment but didn't get my rebate from Barnes and Noble since they are one of the companies who hasn't made the payment to ebates so it's still pending
 
unbelievable - ebates flat out lied to me in the email about why they couldn't pay on the 15th - why not be honest and tell the truth - here's the email - I did get my payment but I will be using Mrrebates from now on

I still haven't received my payment yet. I have been a member since Sept 07 and have NEVER gotten a payment. There has always been an excuse as to why. In Nov they told me that I had two email accounts and two paypal accounts (which I do not have). They asked me to email them the correct email address and paypal account email that I use. I did that. I got another response that all was taken care of and that I will get my "cash back" on Feb 15th. Feb 15th came and went. I emailed them again, only to get the same lame response about the two emails. I had saved the emails from Nov and copied and pasted them into a new email and told them to fix it immediately. Needless to say I haven't heard a peep from anyone over there.

Thanks for posting the phone number. I will give them a call tomorrow to see what other lies they can tell me.

I will no longer be using them. I have had my fill. I told them that I will tell all of my message board friends, blog frieds and people friends not to ever use them again.
 
Just got an email from them basically saying that I won't be getting my ebate from my Circuit City purchase. Of course, that was the biggest purchase that I made this quarter. :sad2: It's pretty disappointing, I should have shopped through Mypoints so at least I'd have something to show for it. They gave me a $5 "gift certificate" to some electronics store that I never heard of and won't likely be buying from.
 
I've been a member of Ebates since 2006 w/one account and much earlier w/an account I no longer use. I hadn't had any problems until NOW. I spend thousands of dollars per year at Hot Topic. I just noticed within the last two weeks that they have not paid me one rebate for my Hot Topic shopping since July. I am missing approximately 35 PAYMENTS. I cannot get a response from the company w/the exception of "can" e-mails they send automatically. I cannot find a phone number to contact anyone. I am VERY frustrated to say the least. My only option now is to take it outside the company. I have three acquaintances who I referred and one stated that she's NEVER received a check. Just the head's up to anyone looking to start using them. Great in the past and totally unreliable and unresponsive in the present! After doing some research, I've found this to be more common then first realized.
