ebates vs upromise,my points?

etc? I am new at this and was excited to learn on the board about my points, i had been doing upromise for a while, but seems to take a long time to accumlate. Do you shop around to decide which is best before you use one or do you find one a better deal than others?

I do ebates, fatwallet, upromise and I also shop through my discover card (credit card) site to earn cash back. I usually do a quick check of each one to decide who is offering the best cash back. I also take into account that with my discover card cash back I can purchase gift cards at a reduced rate. I can get $50 gift cards with $40 cash back dollars.

I think it really depends on how you shop/where you shop, but upromise has worked out best for me.

Swagbucks.com is my new favorite, you get them just for searching the internet which I do a lot anyway.

Can tell more about the search on swagbucks.com. Is similar to mypoints.com search. If so I am sign up for the program.

I use sunshine rewards too, along with mypoints. What I would suggest is that you pick one main rewards site, and go to the others for their unique things, or for merchants your main site does not have. Otherwise, you are spreading out your rewards, which will take you longer to get to the level you want to. There is a rewards board on the DIS. I'm surprised they haven't moved your thread yet. A lot of them have surveys you can take too, and you want to be sure you arent' trying surveys on many sites during the same days. It will screw it all up and you won't get credit. Good luck. I do not use mypoints search so I can't tell you about that but I just use it to search instead of google. You don't always get swagbucks, but right now you can redeem 45 SB for a $5 amazon giftcard and I get about that in a month by searching normally.

I see who gives me the most cash back and if they are equal, I go for the money in my pocket with ebates instead of upromise.

ETA: I recently lost over 60K miles on AA for inactivity and was able to get them back. I may add shopping through my airline websites occasionally so that doesn't happen again.

I LOVE - My Points - infact just used a Kohls GC I got to buy some Elf on a Shelf gifts or stocking stuffers for my DD5... I use Mypoints all the time - I just have to remind Hubby to use it.. LOL..

I love mypoints too. I agree with the PP that said pick one site to use the most. I belong to all of them, ebates, sunshine rewards, inbox dollars...but I found, for me, mypoints is the easiest. Now I do a lot of shopping over the internet. (Goal this year for Xmas is not to set foot in the mall) and the points rack up fast. They also will send you emails and surveys. Anyway, just since the summer I had 14,000 points, most of which I redeemed for Amazon Gift Codes and I used that to Xmas shop.

If you're just looking to make the most money in rewards and are not concerned with reaching cash back levels.... These sites tell who has the best reward for shopping sites. However, it does not take into consideration double or cash back increases. I also do not know how often they are updated.
