Maybe we should start a new thread and have an official fish extender list in the beginning as well??

We might be able to get a Mod to give one of us control seeing as how the OP isn't going. :confused3

All this talk about packing is making me nervous. I'm not sure how I can get us all packed into three suitcases. It's hard because DS won't be old enough to pay for a seat yet, but he'll still need clothes and diapers! I just don't even want to think about it!

You should ship diapers and other baby supplies to the ship before you leave!

Welcome!!!

I'll keep an eye out - or else I may start another thread like Jan did for the 9/12/09 cruise... Whatever you want your Majesty... ;)

didn't you like my subversive way og hetting you to volunter to do it :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I don't think the OP ever signed up for this cruise. It looked like he was considering it so he started this thead.

I will be happy to give our info (ages when we cruise):

Me - Brack Jr (58yo)
DW - Annette (56yo)
DS - Brack III (35yo)
DDIL - Jennifer (34yo)

okay michelle, go ask for control or start a new one and here is your first bit of data. and for sure it needs fe info abd drinking games posted.

JoJo the DISDog (my nickname for him) is doing better but is still not well. He is after all a pure bred Minature Poodle that is almost 17 years old. ::yes:: He has outlasted the odds against him very well. I can only hope that I do as well. :flower3:

Thanks for asking. :grouphug:

good luck with the doggie. I feel your pain. We had to put down our 16 year old border collie the day we left for the PC repo. It was a hard thing to do but she had been on decline for 2 years. She told us it was time that morning before we left...very sad time :sad1:

GM, don't think about this NOW. It's not part of what matters now. When the time for packing comes then worry. Now is the time to enjoy every day of that little guy (& girl) they grow up too fast to worry about silly stuff and take away from today. (from the mom that worried too much and missed some of the daily joy):sad2:

I would not worry too much at this point because it will all depend on the airline you are flying to Orlando, what you plan to do in Europe (if anything or just come right back). For getting to Orlando consider using someone like Southwest who still allows 2 free luggage. Then when coming home most airlines allow 2 bags when flying internationally. I looked up Aer Lingus and they do allow 2 per person when flying internationally. Also some airlines allow one small (like up to 20 pounds) suitcase for "lap babies".

Question - are you planning on flying home without buying a seat for the baby? Know that many airlines now book solid or have very few extra seats and that is a long flight back to US if you have to hold the baby. Just food for thought - but you may have already figured that all out.

Oh and you can buy a seat (and sometimes at a discount) for the baby - we never flew without buying a seat for ours - just made me more at ease and easier to handle the kids because we put them in their carseats and it was just like taking a car ride for them. This way you are also allowed to have luggage for the baby.

you can ship baby supplies to the port or your hotel. don't ship diapers though, large bulky items r better off bought in ORLANDO..and kept in thyere original packaging.

Ok Nan... I'll go ask...

And about shipping things to the port... remember - it has to be a small box - able to fit through the Xray machine... :thumbsup2

Starting a new thread... since the OP seems to not be able to keep this one updated... (not sure if they are even on the cruise or not...) (I did PM him...)

PLEASE...

post any info you would like me to include on the first page, ie... links, etc and I will add them... also please post your family names, ages, hometown, & if you want to be included in a FE or Secret Mickey.

I will skim the new thread in the next couple of days to get as much info as I can...

I've asked the Mods to close this one and move us over to the new thread... I will come back in a minute and post the link....

thanks!!!
