We did this on 10/2 and i HIGHLY recommend calling and getting a PS
we got one for 11 right when it opened and the lines started for non reservations at 10:30

we went it and had a GREAT seat right by the tank
we ate talked and relaxed until about 12:30 and people were still in line i mean the same people as when we went in

later around 2 i overheard people saying it was a 2 1/2 hour wait

so i say call it's is worth it
we had a blast even if the food was a little weird
oh and if you ask they WILL let adults order of the young adult menu but the portions are quite a bit smaller

We ate here on 8th Oct as a special treat for ds 8 who loooves sharks! We loved it so much we ate there again on a spooktacular sunday when the park was much busier. We were sat beside the tank both times which was wonderful. It was very relaxing with excellent food and good service and was a lovely relaxed mid-day break from the park.
Ds 13 prefers simple food and ate from the kids menu -this wasn't a problem and portion size was easily big enough for him.
Highly recommended.

Glad to hear we can order off the 10-15 yo. menu. I want to make a reservation for lunch for DH's birthday. Since they don't have a lunch menu, I was thinking the only other option would be to share. I would much prefer to order our own meal, with smaller portions. We won't want to eat a huge lunch, because I have already booked the Luau for his b-day dinner.

Does anyone know a number that I can call to make a reservation ahead of time. I have tried the 800 number, choosing the dining option, but only get a recorded message, when I stay on the line to speak to guest services. Thanks

If you do make a reservation, make sure you are assertive about it. We made a reservation months in advance, and when we arrived at the restaurant they pulled up our reservation, noted it, but put us at the bottom of the list. We waited a long time before complaining, and then were seated immediately.

We found the service there to be quite poor, although the food was ok and the view was great.

What # did you call to make a reservation? I called SW dining last week, and was told that Sharks Underwater grill only takes same day reservations. They would not take advance reservations or PS. Thanks

The # I have is (407)351-3600. I never used it and wish I had. Though we waited 45 minutes for a table around 2:30pm the day before Thanksgiving, we were told the tables right next to the viewing windows were reserved for those with priority seatings. We still had a good view of the sharks, but it would have been a nice treat for the kids if we had been closer.

I just called again, and they only offer day of PS. Has anyone been able to book a PS here, in advance? This is my third call trying to book a PS. The other times, I used the 800#. We're going to be there on Dec. 30th, which I expect to be extremely crowded. My fear is that we'll try at 9am to get a same day PS, only to find out they have no availability. Any suggestions?
