Question Number 2 of the day!! :)

I'll be with my two kids of 7 and 11 staying 3 nights at the HRH in December and as we'll be 'doing Disney' and that area the rest of our hols I plan on just staying around the HRH/Parks/Citywalk during our stay there.

We've eaten at the Hard Rock Cafe but this time want to try some new places.

Any idea of a couple of good places I can take them either in the Parks/Citywalk or even what the eating places are like in the HRH.

The like the usual kids stuff but my son can be a bit adventurous at times!

Nothing too horribly expensive either!!

Any good ideas or recommendations greatly appreciated - thanks guys :)

I have an 11 year old son and he loves to go to NBA City. We usually end up there several times during our trip. You will get a dicount with your AP.

We also go to Margaritaville. My son really likes this as well, but this may be because we subject him to Jimmy Buffet tunes all year long! Also AP discount I believe.

One place that my son still talks about as being "pretty cool" because it looked like a "cave" inside is Mythos over at IOA. This place has great food as well. You get AP discount here as well.

There is a new restaurant in HRH called the Kitchen which is receiving good reviews on the boards. I'm looking forward to trying that on our next trip.

We'll be at HRH 12/21-12/23. I'm sure we'll all have a great trip!

Highlander - I love your new pictures, but I am squinting to see them!! It looks like you with your family, but I'm not sure.:D

Thanks have adjusted but will need to readjust as its too big now oh well back to the drawing board:jester:

Oh, I can see one now - what a nice looking family! I had a hard time with my pictures too. Good luck with that task!! And, I never knew there was a Mrs. Woody?!

Another vote for NBA City. We also loved Motown Cafe. The food was okay, and they have a kid's menu, but the atmosphere can't be beat!

*adds his vote for NBA City and Margaritaville*

Tigerlily-Woody's wife is named Winnie. They have children, though I dont remember their names off-hand. If you go and ride the Nuthouse coaster, you'll be able to find out the names of their kids.

At portaventura universal spanish theme park Woody and family are the main characters plenty of stuffed toys etc:jester:
