Eating w/out park admission---

Universal Parks have 2 hour eating passes. You have to have reservations made. I don't remember how they keep track of it. I think you have to provide a cc and if you don't check out of the park, you get charged.

We checked into this a few years ago w/ friends. I would double check that they even still have it.

I don't think they do the shopping pass any more but the way it worked is they charged your for a one day ticket and if you exited in time (I don't remember if you also had to have a receipt for your purchase or not - I never did it myself), then they refunded your money. If you didn't do what you said ("running in to get a purchase that I should have picked up when visiting earlier in the week"), no harm to Disney - they have your money. And I think the time frame was short enough (like an hour) that it would have been risky to try it for "one last ride".

Now days, if you had bought at least a four day ticket, running back the last day to pick something up would only cost you $2 for an extra day, so no need for the shopping pass.

Once again, how exactly would they enforce that? The two hour passes are to park, not get into the parks.

As someone else mentioned, they took your credit card information, if you didn't come back within the timeframe, your card was charged for a one-day ticket.

It was a "shopping pass" but as allearsnet.com says, has gone the way of the dinosaurs.
