Okay the posts about eating on MNSSHP days has got me thinking. The morning we are going to try to go to MNSSHP we are going to Epcot in the morning and eating at Le Cellier at 12:55 for lunch. The plan is to head back to the resort to shower and get the kid's costumes on and head to the MK. I want to get something to eat before the festivities get started. Any suggestions?

We always do Liberty Tree Tavern character dining in MK before MNSSHP.. Right after dinner the 1st Parade is right there in view :thumbsup2

Or if you want something out of the park what about Kona Cafe or Ohana? In the park I would always go with a CS just because I dont really care for the main restuarants but Crystal Palace Buffet might be nice during MNSSH (do the characters dress up?)

Since you are eating a big meal so late, I wouldn't eat another big meal again at MK before the party. You'll probably be done with Le Cellier around 2:30p - 3:00p.

I would just get fast food/counter service at the party but that's just me!

All counter services will be open till 7:00p and then after 7:00p Casey's, Cosmic Rays, Main Street Bakery, Sleepy Hallow, Westward Ho, Frontierland Turkey legs, Mrs. Pot's cupboard, Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies and the Lunching Pad should be open.

Just some advice. We did the P&PP party in Feb with DD4 and are going back for MNSSHP in Oct (she'll be 5 by then). For P&PP in Feb, we just hung out and relaxed and took a nap on the day of the party because I knew we'd be up late. We had dinner ressies at LTT at 4:30....worked our great for us. We were all rested and ready to hang out until midnight.

Doing the same thing for MNSSHP except we have a 5:15 ressie at CRT (since we can get into MK at 4:00 with our party ticket). DD5 and I will have a pool/nap day to rest up for the party.

Maybe your kiddies can hang all day....you'll know better than me :goodvibes but I can admit, maybe it was me who needed the nap before the party and not DD :confused3 In all seriousness, relaxing before the party night just worked great for us.

We did CP before MNSSHP last year. We had a blast. The characters don't dress up but it's still fun.

We did the same thing for MNSSHP, MVMCP and plan to do it again for Pirate and Princess next month. We have ADR's at Tony's (not my favorite, but decent food and very convenient) at 5:00. We'll probably stay at the resort, swim and rest during the day before then.

We are going to do Chef Mickey's before MNSSHP and then surpise our girls with the party tickets. We went when they were little and they still remember how cool it is. I told them it just wasn't worth the price to add that in, but little do they know what we are planning. We won't do costumes though, they are just too old to care about that.

I think I am going to try for a ressie at the Plaza. We won't have any TS credits left and so we would just pay for it OOP and the prices there don't look to bad. Any recommendations on the time? What events start right at 7:00? I was thinking of asking for 6 - 6:15.

Well that didn't work - Plaza closes early so they only had as late as 4:30 - too close to our other ressie. I'm thinking maybe we just do CS. Did anyone get ressies for Tony's or Liberty Tree for times during the parties?? She said they didn't have them up yet?

LTT and Tony's are open during the party and they won't release those ADRs till the tickets go on sale on May 1. The ADRs before 7:00p should be open though (as long as you are at your 180 mark) so if there's nothing available then they must just all be taken.

We booked at our 180 day mark for Liberty Tree Tavern during the Halloween party in early October, and the only open time slot for 2 people was 5:45 PM. We booked it then in fear we may not get another. Hope your able to get reservations at your preferred time. Good luck!
