Eating dinner at the bar/lounge--Fultons and Il Mulino

I'm not sure if Fultons even HAS a bar--but in any case, anyone know if we can get a full menu dinner at the bar in either of these spots??

You're going to Fulton's! Just kidding....my DH and I considered breaking our years long boycott last trip.

I haven't been to Fulton's in years, but used to go there and have a bowl of chowder and a ceasar salad at the bar. I honestly don't remember if they had the full menu available there, but I want to say they didn't (at least at that time).

Don't know about Il Mulino's.

BCV23: Yes--Fultons has been off our list for quite sometime ,so we thought we'd give it another try. The service simply HAS to have gotten better since the last times we went(?)
Now--will I be kicking myself after this? Or has it changed for the better??

I never understand why so many people have issues with the service in Fultons. DH and I eat there 3-4 times a year and have done so for the last decade. Just once have we had a bad waiter.

I am not sure if they have a full menu at the bar itself, but they do serve the full menu at the tables in the lounge area.

The bar is in that lounge area--which is on the back end of the "boat" and next to the restaurant?

Uncle R ... I'm not sure how much food service you can get in the bar area at Il Mulino, but when we dined at the restaurant in October it was packed with a convention group. You might want to have a back-up plan in case it's equally busy the night you go - we had to push our way through the lounge to get to the hostess counter to be seated at our table.

The food was great, though, so I'd highly recommend it.

Bluezoo's lounge serves a great variety - we were there with friends one night and ordered about 8 appetizers to share along with some desserts. And had a great selection of drinks, too!

Thanks! I guess we'll just ask when we get there. We DO have ADR's, so if we have to eat in the restaurant, that's what we'll do. It just now we've become SO used to eating at the bar, we try to do so whenever possible.

And we ate at the Blue Zoo bar last trip--they serve a full menu and we had a great time. We're doing that again in May.
