eating at different resorts

how do you plan your day? Do you just make sure your out of the park early and go back after dinner? when we went we ate at WCC but that was the day we got there so we didnt do any parks that day.
I was considering doing 1900PF for dinner on DD's bday and im not sure how to plan around it lol.

We have done both ... eaten around 6ish and gone back to the Parks and eaten later and just gone back to the hotel. For us, it depends on the Park. I would go to dinner at Park Fare and then go back to the MK because I just love it there at night. If I were leaving, say DHS, I would probably plan a later dinner and not go back.

We have our ADR's set up by which park we're planning on being in. So on MK day, for lunch we'll take the monorail over to CR to eat at the Wave. At DHS, we'll take the boat over to Kouzzini's or Spoodles (whichever is open at the time)and then head back to the park. For dinners, we're eating at the Signature's this time, so we'll take a monorail from our resort (Poly) either to the other monorail resorts or take the monorail to Epcot and then take a boat or walk to the Boardwalk area to eat. We usually head to a different park after dinner or to DtD.
