We plan on eating at The California Grill on our trip in October and hopefully trying to catch the fireworks. I had a question about parking for anyone who has eaten here and driven their own car. If you have an ADR do they charge you for parking or do you get a temporary tag to park while you are eating?
TIA :goodvibes

When you get to the Magic Kingdom stay to the right advise the person you have dinner reservations at the CG they will tell you how to get to the Contemporay at the hotel gate advise the same no charge for parking

If you do get charged for parking you can take your parking receipt and dinner receipt to guest services and get a refund on the parking charge.

However, if you use the valet parking at the hotel (which is $7 over and above the toll plaza) that is not refunded unless you have a DDE card.

We were given a 3 hour temporary parking ticket from the gate security man and parked in the hotel car park.

Thanks for the tips. Will we have to pay a toll like we are going into the Magic Kingdom or will they let us through without paying if we are going to the Contemporary? Is there a way to get to Contemporary without going through the MK toll plaza?

Use the far right lanes at the Magic Kingdom "toll gate". Inform the attendant that you are going to California Grill for dinner he should let you through without paying (have the adr number just in case)

Another poster said if you do get charged just take both receipt to guest services and they will refund your money. I have never been charged though.
