We will be seeing The Commodores at Epcot during F&W. Kids have their fav songs so we are hoping we hear those during the set time we are planning on seeing them.

But just in case.........has anyone ever seen two or even three shows for the same performer and if so did they do the same songs or different ones?

Kids really like Brick House, Sail On, 3 Times A Lady, etc.

Tammy and I are hoping to hear lots of their hits as well.::yes::

I was just there on Sunday and saw Kool and the Gang. I can't tell you how much fun we had!!
Sorry I can't help you with your question though, we only saw 1 show. :p
Make sure you see the Aboriginal show too, it was awsome. It was actually the favorite thing for my kids, and 2nd favorite to me and DH (Kool & the Gang was 1st!)

JimmyTammy, we have been to several concerts during the years and it all depends on the performers and possibly their mood. Some do different routines and I have seen some do the exact same things, down to the corny jokes. In May I noticed that the performers only did their best songs at the final show.

Hope to see you there as we are arriving with the Beach Boys and checking out after Three Dog Night. I will be about three rows back and toward the middle as I can get. LOL Saving seats for my neighbors who are meeting us there.

Thanks for the replies!! I would have loved to have seen Kool and the Gang. And the Beach Boys will be a lot of fun too. We will arrive when The Temptations are there. May try to slip in to see them. Taylor Dayne:confused: will be there also. She is a little past my time I guess cause I cant remember her.

3 Dog Night would be cool to see too. Joy To The World was probably the first rock song I remember hearing and knowing all the words. Does that date me a bit?

Yep, it dates you as being about my age. LOL We will be at the Temptations concert as well. I do not remember Taylor Dayne either but when I checked the website she sang something I remember but I plumb forgot what it were. LOL

See you there, or be square! (old fogey talk)

Slightly Goofy

Where can I find a listing of the various groups scheduled to perform at F&W and their dates?

We'll be at WDW Nov 8-12 and would love to catch a concert!

Our kids think we're goofy enough already; why not add singing along to Brick House to the list?

We saw Kool and the Gang on 10/1 and for two shows last night (10/4).

While we did not sit in the theater the whole time for any of the shows, we did notice that the sets they played seemed to be the same songs, in the same order each time.

I agree, however, that it probably depends on the performer.

You can find the information posted right here! http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/epcot/events/index.htm

Looks like you will be here for Eddie Money and Chubby Checker.

Ted

Thanks Ted!

My DH likes Eddie Money but the kids might prefer twisting w/Chubby Checker.

Ted, you have me intrigued about the most addidictive candy...can you describe it to me? Is it chocolate? Chewy? Hard?

Karen::yes::

Chubby Checker is pretty good. He even does the Mickey Mouse Club song as a sing-along.

The candies are chocolate covered soft caramel chews. As with most things in Epcot, the bag is a bit pricey, but they are SOO good!

Ted

Oh my goodness:lovestruc :lovestruc
You just hit on my 2 most favorite food groups - chocolate and caramel. I"m in big trouble now. I should probably start dieting today just to prepare!

Thanks for the help!

I don't know where you can listen to a whole song, but walmart.com lets you hear a sample of songs. Just go to their site, click music, then the artists name. You can then click on different cd's, and then each song individually.

Not necessarily. Joy to the World was one of the first rock songs I heard, and is still one of my favorite songs ever. (and I'm probably not in the same "demographic" group as you are)

Do you have to get there really early to get a seat?

I was there on the first night. It was a Friday, so not as busy as a weekend, but the seats were half full. I took a quick glance in last night and I saw seats empty at the beginning of the show when we walked by.

I would not worry about not getting a seat.

Ted

On Sunday the line started forming about 1/2 hour before showtime. There were a few empty seats at first, but as soon as the music started it was all over! All seats were taken and LOTS of people were standing.
