Boy, those morning pictures REALLY make me want to be there right now. I can just "feel" the weather and the fun of being there.
For the morning show, do you watch it outside of the park, after bags, or do you go inside and under the tracks to the other side to see it best?

It has been far too long since I have walked around the All-Star Resorts, and I plan to remedy that in a little over a week. Now that Movies hase been refurbished, I want to stay there again. I've stayed at Sports twice, Music twice, and Movies only once. Our room definitely needed sprucing up, so it was decided that the next trip there would be after that was done. I actually asked my gang about staying there on this coming trip, but they wanted to go to Pop. I'm okay with that, but I am making plans to make time for a walk through all three All-Stars to get Christmas pictures, so I hope that works out.

My early morning pictures are often too early, which makes it too dark for pictures. Yours are perfect.

After bag check and even after turnstiles. You will be between the turnstiles and the tunnels. You can watch from the middle to get a good view but then you will be towards the back of the crowd going in.


I hope we have good weather. I peeked and I see rain 15 days out but it always changes so I look forward to seeing that go away.

The weather people keep telling me it is supposed to be warm. It is always cloudy and therefore a bit cooler than I expect. I nice day by the pool would be nice right about now.

I would like to make it to see the themed decorations but it would be on a whim. However, by staying at SSR, that would make connecting back to the room easier. That or going in the middle of the day when the park is super crowded.

I only ever seem to get huffalumps in here.

I saw this wire when I exited Pooh and remembered the wire is to keep the birds away. We finally used to use the same wire over the pool deck. The birds cannot negotiate the wire and it keeps them from swooping down and bothering people.

On to a ride that is going away soon. Snow White.

Having completed my tasks for Mk that day- I made my way out and walked directly back down Main street and who do I see?

I love the MK opening show. It is so great to see the characters together. I cannot wait to be back in 13 days!! NYE sounds like it is going to be fun.

Heffalumps for me, too. The lighting is brighter in there. I have a thousand and one pictures of blurry Tiggers and Poohs, but the Heffalumps always cooperate much better.

It is going to be so cool to see all of the new Fantasyland stuff when it is completed. Seeing the progress is one of the several reasons I am sad about having to cancel the spring trip. I will be very excited to see the finished/almost finished product in June. We are planning to go back in October, so I am hoping it will all be ready by then.

12 days and counting!!! The bus situation was organized chaos. Looks like the rain has somewhat disappeared from the forecast.

I was not going to either of those parks. It was Friday Sept 30th so I was going to EPCOT for F&W.

A little look around Morocco while I am here.

I think I was looking for the mistake that every opiece of artwork in Morocco has. I don't think this is it but it certainly add to the artwork not being perfect idea.

The (in)famous fountain

If you recall I had found someone’s trip report that had evidence of a “phallic” statue of sorts in Morocco. Being that most of the sculptures had that rounded top it was not too hard to interprete it as such. So I set out to look for it. I searched high and low but this was as I could find something fitting that description. And it was blocked, perhaps on purpose?

Here is another one but the first one may be a better depiction.

That's IT!!!! Glenn you get teh search award, because I searched it and never did find that article.

I searched Morocco high and low and around and around and never saw it. Now that I know what I am looking for I will need to pay attention. I always thought it was a statue of some sort but this is more of an outgrowth.

I hope Markie is feeling a bit better. I am glad he got an appointment and I agree with another person on your thread that if they thought it was serious the Dr. would have worked him in earlier. I hope you feel a bit bettter seeing him.

Saw a new bride and groom by the store and talked with them for a while and then the girl and her mother came up. The Girl from DHS the day before.

Apparently the bride and groom and the girl and her mother knew each other. They chatted for a while and sadly I never got the nerve to talk to her or get a picture.

The cherry colada was good, but the overall best value this year is yet to come. A good drink, and a good quantity for the price that is charged.

We got this exact thing in France! I liked it but thought the regular Grand Marnier and Grey Goose slushies were better. This one was a little too sweet for my tastes. The milk chocolate creme brulee was awesome.
