I love this thread! It is fun to see everyone's love (or hate) for Turkey legs. (I have yet to try one, there is just something that seems scary about them.)

I like Turkey legs at places like Renaissance Faire, but the ones at DLR haven't looked very appetizing to me.

Man, you guys are harshing my turkey buzz. Anything that can cover your face in grease and make little bits of your napkin stick to your fingers can't be that bad.

Oh yuck, I think that's just totally gross and disgusting. The whole thought of that grease on my face just makes me nauseous.

I'd eat stale popcorn and greasy turkey legs if I could just be in DL right now!!!

Well, you have a point, I'll agree with you on this one!

Sorry! I would normally agree with you about the whole "cover your face in grease" thing (my "do this" list is full of greasy goodness) but a turkey leg is not what I want to spend my calories on!

They took the prime rib off the menu!! I had it last year and it was the bomb! It used to be on the kids menu, too, but now they only have a roast beef slice with au jus! I need an email address for corporate to address this issue. Bring back the prime rib!

and about the apple.. no regrets =p


Eat this: Cinnamon roll with icing from Blue Ribbon (however, it does not beat the all mighty Cinnabon with extra frosting)

Avoid this: Tigger tails from Pooh Corner and the Mocha Latte from Blue Ribbon....eeeeeeeek

The took is OFF the menu??!?!?!?!?!?!?!! WHY would they do that?? I LOVED the Prime Rib and so did DD12!!! It was perfect for us to share too. I"m so sad about that!!!

Eat This- ice cream sundae from the ice cream shop on Main Street (why am I forgetting these names? obviously it's time for a return trip! LOL

really? Nobody here likes the village haus? they have some turkey sandwich there that I thought was pretty good, and it seemed pretty healthy to me too.

I am also bummed that they took my veggie soup in a bread bowl off the menu at the River Belle Terrace.

My family likes it! We've never had a problem with it. The burgers and fries there taste exactly the same to me as the ones at Hungry Bear and everyone seems to love the Hungry Bear!

Pretty expensive cardboard, too. Aren't they still charging almost $5.00 per slice? Yikes! I like the pizza at Naples in DTD - good taste and good size!

Yeah, I think the P.P. pizza is like $4.79, almost $5 per slice. I actually liked the BBQ one at Pizza Oom Mow Mow in DCA and I tried to find it while at P.P. This last one I had was a supreme and it just didn't taste right.

I have another set to add:

Eat this: Clam Chowder (with or without bread bowl) at Royal Street Veranda, unless you hate clams, heh!

Don't eat this: The grilled vegetable sandwich at Club Buzz-Lightyear's Above the Rest. It sounded good with the bell peppers (since I love those!) but it ended being extremely spicy and the bread tasted stale!

They have the white hot chocolate at the Market House. We always go in the fall and have always gotten it but I have always wondered if it is seasonal.

Another corn dog question related to this one: Are the corn dogs at DL and DCA the same or is one better than the other? We've never tried them at either park but with all the rave reviews they are getting here we better try them sometime.

I should admit not everything from the Village Haus is bad. I tried those apple caramel things and they were pretty good. I forgot what they're called exactly and not sure if they still have them.

DCA has the Corn Dog Castle. It is near Mullholland Madness and the Zephyre ride. They have regular corn dogs as well as a sausage dog and a cheese stick! YUM!!!!
