Eat at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ coz I promised the manager, Jeff ;)

We have our reservations for dinner there in 19 days. I love it, DH has never been there before so he's excited to try it and my 3.5yr old is unsure (but he has issues with food so he didn't get a vote :rolleyes1:rolleyes1)

I'm in! Already booked for dinner September 11 - our first day in the park :cool1:

This thread helped convince us! We have reservations for dinner before MHP on the 24th! Can't wait. :woohoo:

Soooo good... I just wish they were baby backs instead. I use the rub recipe all the time at home on them and now we think it tastes better than the meat they use. I really messed that one up! :rotfl2:

I think the price is outrageous. I don't feel bad for them not getting enough business. If they lowered the price by 25%, they would be twice as busy.

Not as good as 25% off, but if you use your Disney Visa card, you get 10% off.

Is it open in the winter? We've only ever done DL in Dec. (East coast WDW vets) and we've never eaten here.

We love eating at Big Thunder Ranch. We always go there for lunch and we always go there without reservations. We eat late lunch so typically it works out for us.

We are goin there in October, so If I see Jeff I will tell him I saw this post!

Cool! Tell him Ryan Boo Boo's mommy sent ya and say hi to him for me.;)

We love this place!! Not only is the food delicious, but it is one of the easiest places in the park to eat gluten-free. We were there last September and everything except the cornbread (and desserts) was g-f! No dessert is not a problem, since we are too full by that time, and they have g-f rolls to sub for the cornbread.

We love eating here but it has to be dinner (love the extras with dinner). My only problem is that my DS doesn't care for that type of food and now that he is a Disney Adult, that is a lot of money to pay to have him sit there and not eat anything but cornbread :rotfl2:

Every Christmas, DH and I make a date to spend an evening at DLR sans kids to do some Christmas shopping and just enjoy the holiday atmosphere. Our first stop is always BTRBBQ :thumbsup2

We were sorely disappointed on a trip to DL planing on having a BBQ dinner. After a long day at DL we arrived at BTRBBQ and were told we needed reservations. That had never happened before. Ever since then we ALWAYS make sure our reservations are made. You never know what the crowd is going to be like and we don't want to be turned away again. The $$ is very worth the dining experience with your family.
