Was wondering if anyone had an idea on where to store their room key when needing to show the attendants for FOTL. Last year I found it very unhandy to dig in my purse every time I had to show our room keys. I need easy access but not so that someone could swipe them off my backpack, purse etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I always use a fanny pack and have the tickets in the front pocket by themselves.

Mary,

I posted this last year and the year before I think too!;) Two choices: Claire's Boutique, in most malls, have a soft plastic credit card pack that they sell at the counters for about $1. These plastic cases are the size of a credit card and have 2 or 3 sleeves so you can put your i.d. room key and c.c. if you like or just keep it for your room key for FOL. They come in lime green, pink, lavender and light blue - they usually sell them for 3@$2.00 - each of my family members get a color and they keep them in their fanny packs and I keep mine right in the front of my bag. I can just reach in and feel for it - easily identifiable and they keep your passes from getting wet too.

Choice #2 - you can get a lanyard, from Walmart, that would hold a fishing license that you would wear around your neck. The card slips right into the plastic case and voila! ready to show at each and every ride. (You will find these in the sporting goods section of Walmart).

Hope this helps!

If you're at Universal and want a cheap alternative, there is a great little wallet thing that is on the end of a lanyard with the Universal logo on it that sells for $2.99. It's clear on one side, blue on the other and it's great for kids especially. I saw it around the necks of kids on the boat on the way to the parks from PBH and was determined to find them. I found them at the souvenir shop next to Lombards Landing in Universal.

HTH!

casinos have those things you can attach your card onto an clip onto a belt loop its a lanyard with a clip

We do exactly what Damo does. This allows easy access for scanning the card when needed.

I found a wallet that sounds like the one Robin is speaking of in the ET store in US, we use it all the time! although instead of just snapping it around the neck, I've also tied it in a knot (paranoid). it even has a little zipper pocket to store change & cash & pockets inside to slide a check card or credit card, it closes with strong velcro. very lightweight & thin & can be tucked inside your shirt when on hulk or dd.

I use a plastic container on a lanyard I bought at a scuba shop. I think it's similar to the ones sold at the water parks at WDW. It's big enough to fit room key, credit card, ID, and some money, and it's completely waterproof. The other advantage is that it has smooth, rounded edges, the plastic sleeve type bug me.
