Ghost Hunters has been there and they got some REALLY scary footage.

I haven't been here but have driven past the place many times. If I remember correctly this is one of the few places where the Ghost Hunter guys got a bit scared and they got some convincing footage.

YES!!! Go, it's absolutley the best I've ever been to. You will definitely get scared like never before and all those other hauntings will seem so tame by comparison!

How old are your boys?? I don't think I'd take kids that weren't in their teens.

I saw this place on Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters and I wouldn't be caught dead near that place!!

I have been there, but not on Halloween. It was quite spooky in the middle of the day, so I can imagine that it is seriously scary on Halloween. I would definitely go visit again and take the kids during the regular day tours. The Halloween thing, I would go with DH probably, but not with kids.

My daughter, who attends the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, had to go to Eastern State Penitentiary for a photo project. She said it was extremely creepy and couldn't wait to get out of there. Her photos give you chills. I wouldn't go if you paid me to.

I went back in 90 and it was the scariest place I have ever been to. When the show Ghost Hunters did a show from there it still scared me. I love that kind of stuff. But somthing about that place scared to where I would never go back.
