I've just changed our Disney hotel reservation to a vacation rental to start on Easter Sunday and wondered if the grocery stores open on Easter or should we stock up on the Saturday?

I've just changed our Disney hotel reservation to a vacation rental to start on Easter Sunday and wondered if the grocery stores open on Easter or should we stock up on the Saturday?

I think Publix was closed on Easter Sunday last year. Check their website. Winn-Dixie was open regular hours.

Edited to add: I just checked Publix's website and don't see anything about them being closed on Easter. If you're planning on shopping there, I'd call to make sure they're going to be open.

Not sure about the Publix in Orlando, but our Publix in Tuscaloosa is closed all day Easter Sunday.
