Hi everyone,
We are trying to plan a first visit to DL, and can only go over Easter, Memorial weekend, or actually the 4th of July. We would stay 4 or 5 nights. What do you DL experts recommend for 2015? What week would be less busy? Weather? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Does DL do anything special for Easter? We would be going with 12 people-multi generation-and go to WDW about once a year. We are very excited to go to DL for the 1st time!:cool1:

We went the week before Easter one year and it was totally awful. Limited offerings for the holiday and as crowded as I have ever seen in 15 visits. I would not do it again. I have a friend who was there over 4th of July this year and she said crowds were pretty manageable.

What weather? ;) Anaheim's rainy season is in the winter, so you won't encounter any of the WDW hot/humid weather you're used to. Over Easter you'll prob. see highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s/60s, with potentially some brief spring showers. Your summer dates would have 70s/80s highs and lows in the 60s with no rain/humidity. Leave your ponchos at home, but be mindful to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings, as SoCal can get chilly when the sun goes down, even in summer, due to the lack of humidity.

HydroGuy's A DLR Guide for WDW Vets is a very popular superthread you may want to browse.
