As I've posted about semi-recently, I am headed to WDW with my family about 2 weeks after Easter. I've decided that instead of our usual baskets, I want to focus them on things that we need and that will be useful/ fun on our trip. Kids are DD 4 and DS 22 mo.

This week I stopped by the Disney Store and got them each a Disney shirt and a small stuffed animal (Minnie and Mickey, of course). I also plan on getting them bathing suits and sunscreen, since they've definitely outgrown last year's suits.

What else should I add? I was thinking about bubbles, a Disney movie, but now I'm stuck. Any good ideas for small toys or activities that will be helpful on waits, etc.?

They have mini Easter tsum tsums -- they are small and adorable! All Winnie the Pooh and friends. I just picked up some for DS and DD who love Tsum Tsum -- it's a very easy stacking game app that I bet your 4YO could do. Stickers are a great and easy addition, plus travel magna doodles, small notepads, coloring books, books, and crayons, wiki stix. Consider beach towels with their names on it -- invaluable for swim lessons and preschool. Disney movie is good, especially the new Tinkerbell one that is coming out next week. You can think about sunglasses (careful -- I've found Disney's run small). Autograph books if you want to do autographs. Hair accessories or sticker earrings for your DD. Claire's has sticker earrings that are Disney. Bubbles are always great but can be a pain if they are spilled so that's something I'd keep at home. I usually throw in sidewalk chalk but another thing I'd keep at home. Honestly the kids will likely find enough to do while in line, especially if you have snacks like cheerios and such. So maybe snack containers and Disney water bottles!

ETA: Oh and ponchos!

Maybe a beach towel, sunglasses, flip flops, a trading pin starter set, or gift cards to use for souvenirs.

It's a great idea to do a vacation themed basket!! Hope your family has an amazing trip :)

The above are some awesome ideas. How about some Disney temporary tattoos? Glow sticks or toys for the night parades? Lanyards for pins?

Lots of good ideas already that I will repeat. Things to do while traveling, sunglasses, sunglasses case, pressed penny map with some pennies/quarters and a container for them, autograph books, glow sticks, Disney magic towels from the dollar tree, gift cards, Mickey ears, character shirts, ect

We are heading down on 4/25. Their Easter baskets will have bathing suits, sunglasses, flip flops and tee shirts all for our trip. I will also pick up some activity and word puzzle books for the flight down. :)

Disney themed fruit snacks, or any other Disney Themed snack you can find. My guys loved the bottled juices with the character heads when they were little and they were so fun to have at WDW. Also WDW themed soap, body wash, wash clothes etc for the room is fun too. I would be sure to include a bit of candy or an item or two that they can enjoy on easter and not have to wait two weeks to enjoy.

Dollar Tree has tons of Disney stuff. I was also at the Disney Store today, and they had several pins on clearance (if your kids would be into the pin trading). And you wouldn't take these on the trip, but I saw Disney themed plastic eggs at Target. You know, I am pretty sure I even saw some travel sized shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste on clearance at a couple of different Targets around here. They had...princesses or something on them. I remember Disney but not what character.

I was originally going to tell ODS with his Easter basket, but we ended up telling him last weekend lol. We will be there for SWW, so his stuff is all Star Wars themed. He's still getting a trip basket, just not at Easter. I have a sweatshirt, sunglasses, glow items (sticks and a "lantern" I found at Dollar Tree), autograph book, and a gift card. The sunglasses were actually from Dollar Tree, too, and I tastefully personalized the sides with some of his tiny Star Wars stickers. I will also be including a bag of items for him to trade with Jawas, but that is obviously specific to SWW.

Oh, some really great ideas already posted. A couple of additional practical ones might be a Disney themed water bottle or fan that sprites water.

Have to agree that Dollar Tree has some great small Disney things like magic towels and sticker books with Disney theme.

With the age of your kiddos perhaps some Disney themed board books. I found a really neat Look and Find coloring pad at Sam's yesterday. Also maybe some hair stuff (ties/bows) for your DD.
