We are visiting California over Easter 2023 and have two days at Disneyland planned, which will fall on Easter Sunday (9th April) and Monday 10th. We have 2-day/1 park per day tickets booked. Am I right to think that Monday isn't a public holiday in the US - so would expect it to be a little quieter? Which way round would you do the parks to take this into account, I wondered if California Adventure is usually the less busy park and therefore the better park to do on Sunday? It's our first trip, so don't really know what to expect.

Thanks!

Mondays are almost always busy at DLR, holiday or not, and Easter as a whole is just busy anyway. I would probably do DL on Sunday and DCA on Monday.

Schools tend to get that Monday off (and the Friday right before). So while it's not really a holiday, it's still a day a lot of people have off/take off.

Usually the two busiest weeks of Spring Break are the week right before and the week right after Easter.

Thanks all - sounds like it's just going to be busy however we try to do it, so doesn't really matter which way round it is! The good thing with having not been before, is that we won't know any different :)
