Easiest way to tip on DDP

We have always just brought cash for the tip. This year we are thinking about charging the tip on our debit card. We have never put charging abilities on our room key before.

What is the easiest way to do this? Should we attach our debit card to our room key and do it that way? Are there cons to doing that?

Is it easier to not have charging ability on our room key and use our debit card itself for tips? Or should we just bring cash? What is your experience with tipping? Help!

Last year we charged to our Key to the World and also paid cash for tips. They both worked out fine. We had no problems.

We purchase Disney Gift Cards and we use those for tips, appetizers, drinks, etc.
