Easiest way to purchase ticket to get onto MDE

Going to purchase ticket direct from Disney, what method would be best to get linked onto MDE, online or over the phone? Will I be given the ticket number to add to the person on MDE so we can make FP + selections right away? Which delivery method is best? Have read that if you have the ticket mailed to you, then you cannot link until you have the ticket? Don't really want to stop at will call if this is possible to avoid.

I have read posts that said the phone CM was able to link the tickets right to the guest's MDE profiles. I am not sure if that is always the case, but I would go with the phone in the hopes that that would be the case.

If you order on line you can either have the tickets shipped to you or you can request Will Call. If you have them shipped you will have to wait for them to arrive to link them. If you choose Will Call you will be able to use the Will Call number to link them 24 hours after your order.

If the phone CM is unable to link them for you the above would be true for phone orders as well.

I had no issues at all with ordering online through Disney tickets, got the DVC price.

I hope Disney was worked out a plan in case their network or servers go down. Putting everything in your MDE account has it's risks.
