I know this information was posted in few threads but I did not write them down because I thought I would not return to WDW for a long time especially with hopper tickets.

Well I'm returning this November with 7 days hopper tickets and would appreciate it if you guys could give me directions as to how to jump from one park to another park without returning to resort then jump to another park bus using other methods of transportation excluding taxis and uber.

For example: Epcot to ____________ using monorail or boat? (I think I remember something about this....)

Thank you

You can walk to and from Epcot and the Studios from the International Gateway at Epcot

You can monorail between Magic Kingdom and Epcot

There are buses from other parks to others not mentioned

The only time you need to visit a resort to get to a park is from a free parking place like Disney Springs

if yu are at the MK you can go to EPCOT by monorail other parks by buss ( directly you do not need to go to any resorts)

EPCOT you can take the boat ( this can be very relaxing) or walk for the back to HS or take a buss ( at the front entrance) to HS or AK

AK to any park I am fairly sure you have to take a buss to any park.

if you are going from park to park plan an hour if you have dinning reservation plan a little more time.

Yep.

On one of our trips we chatted with a large family on a bus. It was their last day. They were going back to the resort to get to another park. They talked about how they had done that their whole trip. I didn't have the heart to tell them that there were park to park buses and going back to the resort was not needed at all.

I would have so that when they come back to Disney they know better.

At Walt Disney World there is either a boat, bus or monorail to/from resorts and parks or parks to parks...the only transportation disney does not provide is resorts to resorts and the reason is obvious...Disney makes no money when you stay at your resort or visit other resorts...they want you AT THE PARKS. They even provide free cab fare(including tip) to and from your resort to the golf courses...why you ask...have you seen how much the greens fees are at the disney golf courses ???

How embarrassing, we've always gone back to the resort then to other park. That's good to know.

Sorry but I'm little confused as to how park to park buses work. I would have done what the other family would have done. Gone to closest resort to the park I'm at, get off, and then get on another bus to different park.

Can someone be more specific?

@abner1776, so no resort to resort bus? I am staying at Pop but have reservation at Boma. I would have to ride bus to AK, get off, and rider bus to AK Lodge?

When you exit the park there will be a transportation board that will tell you what bus stop # to go to for each resort AND each park. There is also a transportation kiosk with a cm where you can ask for specific travel suggestions but they aren't always the most informed from what I've heard.

To get to AKL from Pop you will have to transfer from a park to the resort.

use the Disney transportation system.

I disagree with this because the main reason most people want to go to another resort is to eat at that resort's restaurant. (Or one of that resort's restaurants, as the case may be.) I think that the reason that Disney doesn't provide resort to resort transportation is that with over 20 resorts, it just wouldn't be feasible to provide transportation for every possible resort to resort route.

Yes, this. While Disney provides excellent transportation, that's not their primary intention.

To get from Pop to Boma:
1. Wait at Pop for first park bus that comes (any park or even DS will be fine)
2. At that park, get on the bus for AKL.

I wouldn't do the MK bus - that's too far out of the way.

At each park, there will be a bus stop marked for the other parks. In fact, Disney is slightly devious at the Studios, hehehehe. There is a bus at the regular stops for Epcot but if you thought about taking the boat there and decided not to wait or wanted to walk and then started the walk, there is a stop back there with the "non Disney" stops that is labeled "Epcot". It's just as you start walking in the parking lot and towards the canal walkway. Saved our sorry butts a few times.
