Just booked for next year and again staying on site, we never usually opt for car rental, as we spend most of our time in WDW, with 2-3 days at Universal.
We have previously booked shopping mall/outlet entire day trips through the tour operator (we always stay for 15-16 nights so plenty of time for shopping)!!
However, last year we felt the trip was a big waste of time as only spent around 1 hour at the Florida Mall, and 30mins at the
Walmart/K-Mart (?) in Lake Buena Vista.
Just how far are these places away from WDW, would it be expensive going by taxi? Would it be easy enough to get back?
All suggestions greatly appreciated!!
Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet has free shuttle service. You can catch the shuttle in downtown Disney hotels. Walmart is just across the highway a short walk up. You can cab over to Walmart for $4-5 and come back and meet the shuttle! Here it is copied and pasted!
