Easiest way to get to Beaches and Cream from AK

We have a dinner ADR at Beaches and Cream on our AK day. I have read a couple threads saying you can park at the Beach Club and have your parking validated if you have an ADR, but I was thinking it might be easier to just go straight from AK to the restaurant. But since I have never been there, I am not sure. So for those of you who have, what is easier? Driving our own car and parking? Or some form of Disney transportation?
*If this matters, we are staying at AofA, and I have been told it will be easier for us to drive our own car from the resort to AK.

How late is your dinner?

Since you have an ADR at Beaches and Cream you will be able to park at the Beach Club no problem. Now if you don't want to drive it is pretty easy from AK. Just take the bus at the front of the park to the Beach Club. There should still be an AK bus back even after AK closes because of the parking situation. IF there is not one you can ask Guest Relations to call dispatch.

If it was me, I would just drive to AK and then to dinner. Will cut out a lot of back and forth on buses and be faster.

"Easier" is subjective. Driving will be "quicker," but it might not be more convenient.

There's no validation. They don't charge for self-parking if you have an ADR. If you valet, you're going to pay (unless you have a Table in Wonderland discount card).

What time is dinner? What are you planning to do after dinner? AofA->DAK should be a sort-ish bus ride. DAK->Beach Club should be direct, too. But Beach Club -> AofA gets complicated. If you have other after-dinner plans, it might be much "easier."

I know what I'd do if this were me, but keep in mind that I am a big fan of Disney transportation and don't like to get in my car when I'm in WDW. So I'm a little biased.

I would take the bus to AK, then the bus to Beach Club from there. After dinner, I would stroll over to the bus stops at DHS to pick up the
AoA bus home for the night. I love that walk from Boardwalk to DHS, so that would definitely be my preference. (If you didn't want to walk, you could also enjoy the boat ride.)

Dinner is at 5:20, but I think the park closes at 6 p.m. on the day we are there, so I was worried about there not being a bus that would take us back to AK if we left our car there. We don't have any plans for after dinner as of right now.

Hmmm, we've never been to Boardwalk. That might be something we should consider. Thanks for the idea!

Catch the bus the YC/ BS/BW resorts either of them will work since they sometimes share pick up and drop off locations, the YC or BC will get you there the closest. Head through the resort lobby to the pool area its just on the right hand side between the two since those resorts are like twin halves of one location. It's easy enough to find. Or use one buses that shares AK with one of the water parks then use the water park as a mid point change spot to grab a bus to YC/BC/ BW.

I second this plan.:)

Do you have park hopper tickets? I'd take the opportunity to watch the fireworks at either Epcot or Hollywood Studios and then take a bus back to AofA from there.

If by easiest you mean fastest, then driving would be the answer.

Getting to B&C from AK by bus would be 2nd easiest, although you have the uncertainty of not knowing how long you'll be waiting on a bus, so factor that in to your plans. It's getting to AoA after your meal where it's more challenging. You'll need to make your way to either DHS or EP and bus from there. Or, if you're tired and just want to call it a night, you could always cab it after dinner.

I have read a couple threads saying you can park at the Beach Club and have your parking validated if you have an ADR,

1) No.
2) Validation is not included for Beaches and Cream.
3) The eatery is too inexpensive to include parking.

No, no park hoppers. We will two opportunities for fireworks at MK, and our AK day will be our last. So we'll probably have a slower evening.

If it were me, I'd drive from AK to Beach Club, worst case I'd be ready to pay to valet if they didn't allow self-park.

If you leave your car at AK and AK closes at 6 when do they cut off transportation to AK? You'd have to make sure you have enough time to get back to your car if you left it there.

If you don't use your car at all, you can go from AK to BC, then walk take the boat from YC to DHS, then walk to bus stop and get a ride back to AoA.
