Easiest Way to get from MCO to Pop Century (with a Publix stop on the way)

Hi all,

I have mapquested this but never trust them (You should see some of the crazy ways it has told me to get to DL from my house ) Can someone tell me the best, most efficent way to get from MCO to Pop, keeping in mind we would like to stop at a Publix for a few things on the way. We are arriving this Saturday and getting a rental car from Alamo. We also know nothing about Florida Highways. etc. I do not care about avoiding tolls if it means a more efficent route to Pop.

I don't know the route as we take usually take a towncar but the towncar always stops at THE PUBLIX in Williamsburg Plaza on Central Florida Parkway. I'm assuming that takes us on a fairly direct route - it's very close to Seaworld. Maybe that will help you map it out.

I know this is the one that we stop at (we use Sunray transportation) and we always pass the Sea World Sign.

If your are renting from inside the airport, take the north exit to the Beachline. Go west on the Beachline to Exit #2 or Univeral Bvd. Go down the exit to Universal Blvd. Left on Universal back under the Beachline. Straight ahead through a 4-way. Continue straight ahead to the first stoplight. The Publix, everyone stops at, is straight ahead in the Williamsburg Plaza on your right.

When you leave the store. Go out to Central Florida Parkway and turn left toward Sea World. Shortly after that you should be able to spot Kracken on the right. Follow that street CFP until it merges into I-4. Continue west on I-4 to the third Disney exit (Osceola Pky.) Past the Disney gates and you will see POP on the right. Take a right at the first redlight and about 1 1/2 miles down on the right is the POP gates.
