I've been earning many points at Milesource and My Points. My eventual goal is to purchase either a 6 day hopper plus or a regular AP. I don't think I'll earn enough to pay for the whole thing, so I'll have to add in some cash of my own, too. What is the best way to do this? Originally I was planning to cash out to Webcertificate, then add cash to my account to afford the whole ticket cost. But then I'm not sure where to buy. I don't see a way of applying my DC discount to purchases on the Disney website. What is the recommended method for purchasing passes with reward points?

What I did was turn my web certificates into Disney Dollars at my local Disney Store. I then put them in my Passporter book. When time comes for me to buy my Annual pass, I'll take the Disney Dollars + regular cash to pay for the pass. Can't get much easier than that....

How are you able to use your web certificate at a local Disney store? I thought you could only use them with online merchants?

Tina, I just printed out the web certificate, took it to the CM at the Disney Store, told her I wanted "X" amount of Disney Dollars, and would she please charge it to this MasterCard number that was on the webbie. The two times I've done this, they've asked for identification, my signature, and that was it.

Some people have had trouble doing this, but I experienced no hassle at all.

I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and what your results have been.

Thanks!

actually I think I was the first one to try this with printing out the webbie page. Ive done this 4 times already and only once did I have a CM say she needed the plastic card so I just went to another DS and the manger put it through with no problem. Twice the CM was real interested in how these rewards work. I had a real nice conversation with her!!!:bounce: :bounce:

THis is really fun!!!!:D

I did it along time ago when they were $5 not sure of what the are now.

I like the convience of having my plastic webbie in hand.

Just another option.

I'm with Mal.....

I bought my plastic webbie a long time ago when it was $5 and it has been great!!

I use it everywhere online and offline and have gotten a new one for no charge when it was time to renew, so the fee is a ONE TIME fee, not for each time you renew it.

I added it up the other day, and over the course of about 3 years, I have run over $2000 in rewards webbies through the thing. I have bought an AP and PI AP, paid on my hotel room, and bought sundries before our trips with it.

Disneycub,
Thank you for the info. It worked like a charm. I had 20.00 in webbies, but thanks to you I now have 20 DISNEY DO$$ARS.
