Easiest way from World Showcase to DTD?

I posted this in the Transportation forum to, but since this forum gets much more traffic, I thought I'd post here too. We will be having dinner in France and then going to DTD. What would be the easiest way with the least amount of walking? Is there an easier way than having to walk all the way back up to the buses at EPCOT? Is there a simple way to grab a ferry and then hop a bus or another ferry to DTD without a ton of walking?

Walk or take the friendship boat from the international gate to the beach club and take the bus from there.
BTW - there is no bus from the front of the park to DTD. They don't provide direct service because people would park at DTD, tying up the lots for the day, so they could save on paying for theme park parking.
