Anyone have a suggestion where to quickly grab coffee and maybe some kind of quick breakfast (premade something) at AK? Or any details on the coffee maker in the room - is it a Keurig? Want to grab and go super quick so we can get to the parks early. Thanks!

Staying at AKL now, and our room has a Keurig. Outside of making coffee in the room, where to quickly pick up coffee depends on where you are staying.

We're in Jambo House, and I'd say Mara is the best best for coffee and a quick breakfast. It's on the first floor, close to the pool.

In Kidani Village... not so sure. We ate breakfast at Sanaa this morning, and you could certainly stop there for a to-go coffee or breakfast, but it's not as quick service as Mara. I'm not sure if there are other places to eat in Kidani Village or not.

The coffee location at Kidani is in the gift shop, which was opening at 7:30 the last time we were there... doesn't really work for an early park opening with how much they keep pushing back the times. You have to be on a bus to AK around 6:30 now...

If you want "premade something" and are okay with eating breakfast in your room, you can see what's on the shelf in the grocery area in the gift shop in Jambo House. I haven't been recently, but pre-COVID the gift shops in the DVC resorts had Entenmann's products - you could get a box of donuts, mini muffins, cinnamon buns. You also could get bagels, cereal, and poptarts.

You also can look at the grab & go items in the Mara and see if there's something you want to keep in your room to eat the next day. Allears.net shows hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit as well as bakery items (cinnamon roll, Danish, croissants, muffin, banana nut bread). I'm not sure how late in the day the bakery items are available if you want to get one for the next day.

If you are talking about at the park, Kusafiri Coffee Shop (little hole in the wall before you get to safari) has coffee, pastries, biscuits and breakfast wrap type things. I usually stop there before I get in line for safari. The little walk up window right across from that also has them, I think it's called Tamu Tamu.
