We are heading to disney the 29- april 4 and I am getting fearful of the crowds! We have been there lots of times so I am not worried about not getting to see everything but I would like to be able to do a few things without waiting in huge lines with my 2 kids. Also staying at pop for the first time and I am worried that the pool will be too crowded to swim, the buses too packed to get a seat etc. We usually go in September and have the parks to ourselves. Trying to be very relaxed as this is an impromtu trip. Guess I am getting off to a bad start! How bad will it be?

According to the UG you've certainly picked a busy time to go (crowd levels at 10) but as long as you have a plan and use fastpass maybe it won't be that bad. Have fun!

Yes, there are going to be lines, maybe extended wait times. But we did something last time that made our vacation smoother. Each night, I'd get the guide for the park we were visiting the next day. I called out each ride or attraction and if anyone, even just one person, wanted to do it, I marked it. Otherwise, we passed it by. That helped insure that we didn't waist time wondering around.

You're going to Disney. Time spent in line at Disney is better than a day at work or school! :thumbsup2

Hi, I would say STOP WORRYING!! Get up and get to the parks early!! :thumbsup2 Get in all you can with minimum wait times and use of FAST PASS. Then have lunch and head back to catch a nice spot at the pool!! Plan so you do the rides that are most important to you and the kids and have some ADRS in place. And if you go back to the parks at night the lines are really short when the parade and fireworks are going on! You will be at WDW right before the HUGH Easter crowds,so it may not be as crowded as you think. Also I was at WDW for Pres.Week and the buses were fine! Only one day did I get on an AK bus with standing room only, and a Dad put his child on his lap so I could sit. :) So - STOP WORRYING and PLAN on Having FUN!! (We also go in the middle of summer and follow this same plan-go early, leave about 1pm and go back at night! Joan

Stop worrying. There's nothing you can do about the crowds. What good is going on vacation if you make yourself miserable before you get there? Relax. Go with the flow. You'll have a much better time if you don't let things like crowds and waits get to you. Remember. Quality not Quantity!

I agree with what everyone is saying...crowds are something that you can't control no matter what time of year you choose to go. I wouldn't worry about it because all that will do is put a damper on the building excitement for your upcoming trip. Like others have said if you utilize fastpass and kind of get a plan of what you want to do each day you will be fine. I think you will be fine at POP we were there in Nov and although it was a slow week POP was still completly booked that week and it never felt overrun to me. We didn't have any major bus problems and although we never used the pools the crowds there weren't extreme at all. I'd just go and have a great time and deal with what ever crowds are dealt to you when you get there...I know thats easy for us to say...because I worry about the crowds every trip too.....you'll be fine. :wave2:

We will be there at the same time, we are going 3/31 - 4/9. We've gone during Spring Break for the past 2 years and while it was crowded, we had a wonderful time both trips. Crowds are worse the weeks prior to and after Easter so we have that going for us. Like everyone else said, get to the parks early and hit the big attractions, use fastpass and you won't have any problems!

I have a phobia of crowds so if I can enjoy myself at that time of year, anyone can! :thumbsup2
