Early Park Entry

Hi

What is the situation if you change disney hotels on the day of early park entry - can you see enter the park with your current hotel ID?

They just ask for a key or id I am not sure they know if it is activated or not. Last summer we showed our key and park ticket and there was nothing they scaned it thru

Your ID card from the original hotel will be enough to get you in because it will expire at midnight of the day you check out, thus still being a valid ID card for EMH entry. You obviously have to be out of the room by 11am (and the key portion will not work anymore) but you are still able to use the amenites on the check out date, which will be on the card.
