Early November Travelers! For those arriving Nov 1 ~ Nov. 17

So I was wondering, since this will be our first MVMCP, what do any of the attractions do differently than during normal park hours. When we did MNSSHP in 2010, there were cast members dressed up in costumes interacting with park guests like at Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion.

Our November trip is in my (adult) daughter's name because we used her pin code. I wonder if she got the email.

I dunno... I always have gotten the email but have not yet and we leave in 83 days. Maybe its random?

I never got an email from Disney at 90 days. :sad1: I'm 83 days out. I guess I should check my spam before deleting it from now on!

I'm at 83 days also, and no email. I checked my spam...nada.
I love getting stuff from Disney, hope it still comes??? maybe they just know I am obsessively planning!;)

90 days out! :cool1::cool1:

Oh no...guess I better plan ahead!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

I actually wish I had something TO plan...

Everything is set..ADRs, plane fares, touring plans...

Just one more payment..planned for next payday. :cool1::cool1:

Still want that email though..:confused3

I just want to remind everyone...I encourage you all to join the facebook group, but please don't post things like "I sent a request", etc on here.

I got that email today that we were discussing yesterday (or Friday)...today is my 90 day mark,so apparently thats when they do it...but we have never got that before, nor have we ever been club level~until this trip...so I guess it's only for that? Just curious since we've never gotten that before now...

We will be staying at CSR from Oct 29-Nov 8 (and hoping to book AoA LM for the 8th-12th)
:woohoo:

I don't remember to be honest, but I think most CMs do have some sort of holiday costume on for both parties. Nothing different at the attractions otherwise. this is only during party hours, I don't think it is during regular park hours. You will of course see the characters in their holiday best as well!

I wish it was like DL where there is the Small World Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday- they were simply incredible!!!

YES! Oh my gosh yes. I can't wait to show my husband both of them - we are going for just the one NYE this year so as long as I get them both in I will be very happy! :cloud9:

Well, 83 days left, and I just paid a massive chunk of the remaining balance, so that leaves me with $80 owed by 09/23. I could have used one of my cards to finish it off, and I still might, since they ask on the final payment "Is this the card you would like room charges on" (not that I will have many if any; but it always helps to have that backup); but I want to wait until I have my next paycheck next week so if I use an actual credit card, I can pay that balance right away with the money meant for the trip payment. I really am trying to stick to my "No credit to pay for the trip" plan. So far, all the trip payments, airline tickets, and savings for the dog kennel have been cash, either directly via debit, or put on a CC to pay (like the airline tickets)

Plus, I just finish putting in for vacation with one of my 2 jobs (the other has known since January due to a potential boss switch around this time). Now to get it approved, though I told my supervisor this was not negotiable once I got my plane tickets and had I been allowed to submit a vacation request then, this would not be an issue. We have a "Must wait until 90 days out" policy and unlike Disney ADRs, it is not "90+10" so I had to wait until today to cover the entire vacation time, LOL

That's awesome- congrats on being so close to being paid off! and with no CC!!

Well done! :D I think for our next trip we should do this! It was harder this time since we bought a bunch of Gift cards early and quickly to pay it all off with so we DO have some debt to pay off. But we got 15% off all of them so we will still be way ahead of the $$$ curve by the time it is all over and done!

good for you!! We put ours on the CC and then turn around and pay it off on the next billing so we get flyer miles!!! Only reason we do it that way...glad you have such a tiny balance left!! That's fantastic!!! And we are getting closer!!!:woohoo:

the only good thing is our hotel is DVC stay for 8 nights, so that's paid (and we paid off our entire DVC earlier this year- yeah!!!!!!).

I did book one night at POP on CC with my TA discount, but it wasn't much.

We typically put all our meals on CC to earn points and pay it off upon return. DH is a stickler for not carrying any debt month to month.

i have some stuff still on my Disney CC i need to pay off and will still put GG, disney florist and some other stuff on there too. ;)

I was wondering, can you make the final payment via Gift Card? My local grocery store is offering $.20 off a gallon of gas for every $50 bought on gift cards, and I was thinking of doing the last $80 owed via gift card to add more to my fuel perks

As far as I know you can. I paid off $500 of ours today via GC. The minimum is $20. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to pay off the final $80 that way.

I should add that on our last trip, at arrival check-in (after online check-in), I was asked again which card I wanted to put the room charges on. You should have a chance to change it until they do the final charge, or you can pay it off every day or couple of days via GC, cash or the card of your choice.

I've been using gift cards to pay off almost my entire vacation b/c of the Target discount. Anything to save money, right? I'll also bring some GCs with me to pay off any charges we have while at WDW.

Just curious - when you call to make the payment, do you just give them the number on the gift card?
