Early morning magic?

For those of you who have done Early Morning Magic, did buses/boats start running early enough to get there by 7:30? Planning on staying at WL in Jan/Feb and am considering booking this, but from what I’ve read the boat starts 30 min before rope drop—so how can I get there before this? Would the bus start earlier?

If you can uber, the price is a drop in the bucket for the ease of mind. Hopefully WL has a decent spot for an Uber pickup for you?
Sleep in. Check Uber 20 minutes before you are ready to walk out of the door. My guess is that the eta will be 10 minutes to pick up.
Uber to the Contemp, and walk to the entrance in 15 minutes.
Don't wait for Disney trans and risk it. Not worth it. Just an opinion.
I wouldn't even rely on what a CM tells you about the boats on an EMM day. Just not worth the risk. Uber is cheap.

I have done EMM while staying at WL.

The boat from WL to MK will not be running that early, but the boat that does the WL/CR/FW loop will usually be running. So your options are:

- Boat from WL to CR, walk from CR over to MK. This takes some time...waiting for the boat, trip to CR, walking through the resort then over to MK. It’s doable, just build in time. We were at the dock waiting at 7am and caught what I believe was the first boat to CR shortly thereafter. This option involves a lot of walking so may not be an option for some folks.

- Bus from WL to MK. This is likely your best / quickest option under normal circumstances.

As suggested above, Uber/Lyft to CR or Minnie Van to MK would also be alternatives.
