Early Morning Magic, worth it with 9am BBB

We are a party of 5 maybe 6 adults, and 1 child DD age 3.

DD has BBB at 9am, (assuming we keep it, we will make the final call a day or two before) is EMM worth it?

I figure just me and maybe 1 other adult will even go to BBB with DD, but we can all rides from 745-9 then do BBB and grab breakfast before 10.... or with BBB it’s a total waste?

Just my opinion, but I'm not sure EMM is worth doing if you've got a 9 am BBB -- or at least, I wouldn't do it. EMM is expensive and part of what makes it so great is that you can get PP and 7DMT off your list for rope drop as you hit a couple of other big attractions at 9 and then make sure to get breakfast by 10. By doing BBB, you lose that hour after the park opens to everyone else to hit other things. You'd have to use the hour you had for EMM to ride rides and eat the buffet. Not how I would do it.

You likely would be able to make it for breakfast after BBB but you might not. Typically they are done in 45 mins but not always. If one of the CMs is late or calls in sick or an earlier appt goes long (I think they have PPO appts or used to) you might not be out in time for breakfast. If you’re willing to accept that as a possiblity then go for it. Personally EMM is not something we find worth it, but everyone has different calculus on that.

If the 4 adults really aren't involved with BBB and would otherwise be doing something else (rides, breakfast), it maybe doesn't seem like all that bad an idea. Or am I missing something?

Certainly not the craziest plan I've ever heard of. If it were just folks going immediately to BBB I'd say pass, but given your group it seems in the realm of reason.

Nope we don’t have to....however they may not do it if she doesn’t do it... don’t get me started.... I may have to force them all not to come to BBB I just see 6 adults and a toddler in that place nuts but that’s grandparents and aunts/uncles in my family ..... I may just do EMH for our other MK day then it’s just 2 adults and DD extend family will have left already.... cheaper and less head ache!

You said typically done in 45 minutes, has it ever taken double that? I scheduled our FP, and I have a 930-1030, do you think we will make that?

The first time I think we were done in 45 mins, the second time we did it there was a wait of about 20-30 mins. But that was at 11. I think there’s less chance of that at 9:30.
